Cooking Time: About 45-50 minutes
Loaded with the goodness of sweet potatoes, these sauteed and baked fries are a favorite in our home. A special seasoning gives a bit of spicy kick and balances out the sweetness.

- Peel 2 large sweet potatoes and cut up into medium fry-sized sticks; thicker pieces get mushy when baked.
- In a wok, heat 3-4 tbsp of vegetable oil on high.
- Add the sweet potato sticks and saute continuously until they start to turn golden.
- Turn off heat and spread the sticks in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle salt and black pepper; drizzle another tbsp oil if the sticks look too dry.
- Make sure the oil, salt and pepper coat the sticks evenly.
- Heat oven to 450 degrees and bake 10 minutes at a time until the fries look crispy and start to brown.
- When done, sprinkle and coat with the following spice mix. Serve hot!
- Spice Mix – 2 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, additional salt if needed.

Clever Tip! While you are at it, cut up extra sweet potato sticks. Freeze them for using at a later time.
