What We Like: Full of flavor but not too spicy, this dal combines the goodness of red lentils, butternut squash and coconut. Plant-based protein and fiber got us interested in it. Zero cholesterol and low sugar are a nice plus. Reading through the ingredient list, we loved the fact that there isn’t a single chemical preservative!

Make it a meal! Pairs well with rice or flat beads. Add our Beet Greek Yogurt salad for more protein and to balance out the spices. This wholesome meal can be ready in under 30 minutes.

Watch Out For: Fat and sodium! The fat comes naturally from using coconut and the sodium from seal salt. So there aren’t artificial ingredients to worry about. However, be mindful of this and balance out when choosing meal accompaniments.
