Fig Orange Almond Muesli

Cooking Time: Less than 5 minutes after muesli is pressure cooked.

Muesli can be absolutely delicious and it takes just 10 – 15 minutes in Instant Pot. This recipe has organic muesli with almond slices, dried berries, topped with chopped up dried figs and fresh orange slices. Tangy orange pairs really well with sweet figs. We used unsweetened chocolate almond milk.

  • Choose a good quality muesli with dried fruit and nuts already mixed in
  • Add 3 cups water for 1 cup muesli
  • If you like it sweet, add honey or sugar before cooking
  • Pressure cook for 10 minutes in IP
  • In the meanwhile, chop up fresh or dried fruit for topping
  • Once cooked, let is cool slightly, add the milk, fruit & nuts of your choice

Tip: Cooked muesli stays well in the refrigerator for a couple of days. So make a large batch, and use different fruits, nuts & milk each day!
